rRNA Depletion Kits (Human rRNA & Globin) (ABclonal, Cat. RK30209) is specifically designed for human blood samples to remove rRNA and Globin mRNA from total RNA, suitable for 10-1000 ng total RNA templates.
This kit primarily includes four steps: hybridization of Ribo-Pools probes to target RNA, streptavidin magnetic bead pretreatment, rRNA removal, and RNA purification. The entire procedure can be completed within 60 min without enzymatic digestion reactions and is compatible with high-throughput automation. By utilizing the streptavidin magnetic bead adsorption method, it effectively removes rRNA (including cytoplasmic rRNA and mitochondrial rRNA) and Globin mRNA while preserving other mRNAs and non-coding RNAs for subsequent applications such as whole transcriptome sequencing, long non-coding RNA sequencing, and related research fields.
