Description
Spectrums microtubes are designed for a broad range of research applications, including enzyme digests, DNA isolation/purification, centrifugation, incubation, and general sample/reagent storage. With a variety of design advances theses tubes improve sample visualization, safety, stability, and overall ease of use.
These tubes are manufactured under cleanroom conditions, using only co-polymer, and advanced polypropylene that maximizes clarity. This polypropylene has been formulated to be crystal clear, without compromising centrifugal strength (tested up to 28,000 x g) or the usable temperature range (-90 to 121°C).
The oversized tube cap (with frosted marking surface), combined with the unique ring & groove closure, enhances the security of the liquid-tight seal, while minimizing the required locking forces for a more ergonomic opening/closing of the tubes.
• RNase, DNase, and Pyrogen free
• Sterile by electron beam radiation
• Self-standing bag with gusseted bottom
• 10 caplock clips are supplied in every bag
• Syringe permeable; thin 2 mm circle allows through-cap injection
• Raised locking rim seals into groove in sidewall
• Smooth rounded lip prevents red thumb syndrome
• Frosted marking surface on non-graduated side
• Vivid graduations at 0.1 mL and every 0.25 mL
• Ultra-smooth interior surface
• Reinforced conical bottom withstands extreme g-forces
