Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate, (JIS K 3363-1990) [for Biodegradability of Synthetic Detergent], also known as sodium lauryl sulfate, can be used for unraveling proteins in SDS-PAGE and to aid in lysing cells during DNA extraction. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
