Description
2-Diethylaminoethanol, R1-EAgent is used as a precursor chemical to procaine. In condensate and st1-EAm lines, it is used as a corrosion inhibitor because it neutralizes carbonic acid and scavenging oxygen. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
