Description
2,2-Dimethoxypropane, also known as acetone dimethyl acetal and DMP, is an alkylating agent. In histology, DMP is now considered to be more efficient than ethanol for the dehydration of animal tissue and is commonly used as a water scavenger in water-sensitive r1-EActions. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
