Tetrabutylammonium Fluoride, Hydrate [for Catalyst of acylation, silylation and cleavage of silyl ether], also known as Tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride or TBAF, is a quaternary ammonium salt used in organic solvents as a source of fluoride ion and for catalyst of acylation, silylation and cleavage of silyl ether. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
