1,1′-Carbonyldiimidazole, [Coupling Agent for Peptides Synthesis], also known as N,N’-carbonyldiimidazole or CDI, is an organic compound and a white crystalline solid. It can be used as a reagent in organic synthesis and for the coupling of amino acids for peptide synthesis. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
