Description
(+/-)-alpha-Bisabolol is among Spectrum’s inventory of research chemicals from TCI America. Also referred to as Bisabolol or levomenol, it is a monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol and the main constituent derived from the Myoporum crassifolium and its essential oil. With a slight floral scent, bisabolol is often used in a variety of fragrances and is considered to have anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
