Involved in abscisic acid (ABA) signal transduction, ABA-mediated glucose response, and hexokinase-dependent sugar responses. Acts downstream of GUN1 in retrograde signaling. Expressed most abundantly in developing siliques and to a lesser degree in seedlings.
