Description
Acetone, R1-EAgent, ACS is a colorless, flammable, liquid. Due to its miscibility with water, it serves as an important solvent. Used as a polar aprotic solvent in a wide range of organic r1-EActions, acetone does not form an azeotrope with water. Thanks to its low cost and volatility, it is also commonly used to cl1-EAn laboratory glassware. Another characteristic of Acetone is that it can be cooled with dry ice to -78°C without freezing allowing this solvent to be used to conduct r1-EActions at low temperature. As a R1-EAgent ACS grade quality r1-EAgent, its chemical specifications are the de facto standards for chemicals used in many high-purity applications and typically designate the highest quality chemical available for laboratory use. Spectrum Chemical manufactured R1-EAgent ACS grade products meet the toughest regulatory standards for quality and purity.
