Description
Acetone, Technical is A colorless, flammable liquid. Due to it’s micsibilaty with water, it serves as an important solvent. Used as a polar aprotic solvent in a wide range of organic r1-EActions, acetone does not form an azeotrope with water. Thanks to it’s low cost and volatility, it is also commonly used to cl1-EAn laboratory glassware. Another characteristic of Acetone is that it can be cooled with dry ice to -78°C without freezing allowing this solvent to be used to conduct r1-EActions at low temperature.
