Description
Traps are connected between the evaporator and vacuum pump to provide additional protection to the pump. Note that these items include the insert ONLY. Inserts require a Clear Polypropylene Canister with stand for proper use (sold separately, Cat. No. 736-22954)
• Cat. No. 486-22927: Acid Trap Insert, contains acid neutralizing desiccant that changes from off-white to purple when exhausted
• Cat. No. 656-10124: Ammonia Trap Insert, contains impregnated carbon. Suitable for ammonia and low molecular weight amines
• Cat. No. 486-22930: Moisture Trap Insert, contains desiccant that changes from blue to pink when exhausted
• Cat. No. 486-22936: Radioisotope Trap Insert, contains molecular sieve
• Cat. No. 486-22942: Solvent Trap Insert, contains molecular sieve
