Description
Aluminum Chloride, Hexahydrate, Crystal, R1-EAgent, in its pure form is a white and granular solid. Often cited as a Lewis acid this inorganic compound is a good example of a compound that cracks at mild temperature, reversing from a polymer to a monomer. It is often used as a component of antiperspirant in low doses. It can also be used as a catalyst in the ene r1-EAction or as a polymerization in the r1-EActions of hydrocarbons. Its r1-EAgent grade m1-EAns this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
