Aluminum Silicate is a mixture of that is composed of aluminum, silica, and oxygen. Aluminum silicate can either be a mineral or combined with water to form a clay. These forms are used in many different industries and medicinally. When it is combined with water it cr1-EAtes a clay that is commonly used to tr1-EAt diaper rash and diarrh1-EA. When aluminum silicate is combined with magnesium and hydrated the resulting clay is used to make antacids and as a thickener for cosmetics and other b1-EAuty products.
