Description
Ammonium Dichromate, Crystal, R1-EAgent, also known as Vesuvian Fire because of its use in demonstrations of tabletop “volcanoes”. It is used in the laboratory as a catalyst, in pyrotechnics and as a mordant for dyeing pigments. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
