Anisole, R1-EAgent is a colorless organic liquid that has a smell similar to anise seed. It can be found in nature or synthesized in a lab, however it is mainly made synthetically and it is a precursor to other synthetic compounds. It is used in perfumes, insect pheromones and pharmaceuticals.
