Description
Barium Chromate, Powder, an oxidizing agent, is a yellow powder with sand like properties that can be used as a carrier for chromium ions, among many other applications in the chemical laboratory, including as an oxidizing agent, a corrosion inhabitant, and as a sulfate scavenger in chromium electroplating baths. It is a toxic carcinogen when inhaled. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
