Barium Fluoride, Powder, R1-EAgent is a transparent crystal solid often used to cr1-EAte lenses and other optical applications, in addition to being used as a scintillator in detecting x-rays, gamma rays, and other particles with high energy. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
