Description
Benzaldehyde (DEA List I Chemical) is an organic compound which is colorless and has an almond like odor. It can be synthesized in a lab, or extracted naturally from bitter almonds and other natural sources. It is commonly used as a precursor to other organic compounds and it is often employed to confer almond flavor. It has many uses including in the pharmaceutical industry and in the plastic industry. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
