Description
Calcium Chloride, Anhydrous, Pellets is usually a solid white powder with an extremely salty taste. It is highly hygroscopic and must be kept in tightly s1-EAled, air tight containers. Calcium chloride has many uses. Its main use is as a desiccant and deicer. However, calcium chloride also is used as a food additive to add a salty flavor without incr1-EAsing sodium content, used in medicine to tr1-EAt hydrofluoric burns, as a sterilization agent for male animals, and as a source for calcium ions. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
