Camphor Oil White (DEA List I Chemical) is a white to transparent solid that has a waxy texture, strong aromatic odor and flammable. It is found naturally in the wood of the camphor laurel as well as in dried rosemary, mint and is a terpinoid. It has various uses such as embalming fluid, religious ceremonies, in cooking, for it’s scent as well as for medicinal purposes in products like Vicks Vaporub. The United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) maintains a list of illicit drugs and the chemical materials used to synthetically produce them. List I chemicals are those that are used in the manufacture of the controlled substances and are important to the manufacture of the substances. List II chemicals are those that are used in the manufacture of the controlled substances.
