Cobalt Sulfate, Practical is an inorganic compound that is the divalent salt of sulfuric acid and cobalt salt. It is a red monoclinic crystal that has a melting point of approximately 100 Deg C, is water soluble and is used in the cr1-EAtion of pigments as well as being used to manufacture various other cobalt salts. The pigment is used in the production of porcelain and glass and the sulfate is primarily used in batteries and electroplating solutions.
