Description
Dichloromethane, Anhydrous (stabilized with 2-Methyl-2-butene) is a liquid, organic compound that is volatile and has a light sweet aroma. Although non-miscible with water, it is with most other organic solvents. This makes it ideal in most chemical processes where a solvent is necessary. Anhydrous dichloromethane is used when performing certain reactions where the presence of water can prevent a chemical reaction from happening, or form undesirable products.
