N,N-Dimethylformamide, [for Spectrophotometry] is an organic compound that is a colorless, odorless, water miscible liquid. It is commonly used in chemical reactions as a solvent. It’s an aprotic solvent that has a high boiling point. It is used in the fabrication of plastics and acrylic fibers as well as being used in peptide coupling as a solvent.
