Description
Glycine is an organic compound and is also the smallest of the 20 common amino acids in proteins. It is a sweet tasting, colorless, crystalline solid. Glycine is a common building block to many natural products and is a precursor to proteins. It is also an inhibitor neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.
