Description
The patented Disruptor Genie provides multi-directional action, which simultaneously agitates and vortexes at high speed, dramatically increasing cell disruption or sample resuspension efficiency. Ideal for difficult glass bead procedures – cell disruption/homogenization of yeast, bacteria, plant and animal tissue and pellet resuspensions or anything that requires extremely violent high-speed agitation. Rapid hands-free disruption of up to 12 microtubes (1.5 mL or 2.0 mL) with Universal Microtube Holder. Remove the microtube holder (tubes not included) and attach the supplied Pop-off Cup for high-speed vortexing of single test tubes. Timer for speed up to 15 minutes for Analog model, up to 99 minutes for Digital model or continuous for both models. Digital model is ideal for accurate, reproducible, repeatable results and features adjustable speed and speed alarm.
