Dowex(R), 50WX8-200, Ion Exchange Resin, Dowex-50W-hydrogen is a polymer containing sulfonate functional groups or containing sulfonic acid that comes from polystyrene. Ion exchange resins are used in different separation, purification, and decontamination processes. The most common examples are water softening and water purification. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
