Description
Caps made from a special phenolic material (mineral-filled) that withstands the effects of repeated autoclaving. Liner/cap bond was selected to retain its adhesive properties during autoclaving. With a PTFE-faced or 14B (SBR) rubber liner. Rubber-lined cap is threaded from the liner down to approximately half the total height, except Catalog No. 985-23722 and 985-23704, which have full threads. PTFE-faced cap is identified in ASTM Specification E982, Class B requirements; 14B (SBR) in ASTM Specification E982, Class A requirements.
