One of the most important separation methods in the laboratory environment is filtration, which is used to separate or clean different media. Filter flasks are used in conjunction with filter funnels and other types of funnels in vacuum filtration applications.
• Designed from ASTM Specification E1406, Type II, Class I requirements
• Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3
• KIMAX® flasks with glass side arm
• Flasks are designed to withstand 1 atmosphere of vacuum or 29 in. of mercury
• All sizes have side hose connections designed to accept 5/16 to 3/8 inch ID flexible tubing
