Description
An inherently charged nylon membrane that gives superior results in Southern, Northern and alkaline transfers and reprobing procedures. Average binding capacity is 450 micrograms of DNA per cm2 across a wide pH range. The stability is induced by exclusive crosslinking technology and the natural charge on this hydrophilic nylon transfer membrane provides consistent, repeatable results. It offers significantly increased binding, maximum lot-to-lot consistency, excellent signal retention and improved signal-to-noise ratio. The strength, flexibility and stability of the internally supported nylon membrane and the tenacity of the bond between DNA/RNA and the nylon allows multiple hybridizations or reprobings without breaking or flaking of the membrane.
