Gloria U Hot-Start DNA Polymerase is a typical Family B polymerase with unique characteristics. Through molecular modification of the Gloria polymerase, the binding capability of uracil has been inactivated. As a result, Gloria U can efficiently amplify bisulfite-treated DNA or libraries containing uracil. The enzyme exhibits the same high yield, low GC bias, and uniform coverage as the Gloria Nova Hot-Start DNA Polymerase. The Gloria U 2X Mix for NGS has 5′-3′ polymerase activity and 3′→5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity, making it suitable for amplifying templates containing uracil or amplifying libraries containing uracil.
