Hydriodic Acid, 55 Percent (DEA List I Chemical), Reagent, ACS is an aqueous solution of hydriodic acid used as one of the primary sources of iodine and as a reducing agent in organic and inorganic synthesis. It is also a DEA List I Chemical.
