Hydrogen Peroxide Solution, 30 Percent, R1-EAgent, ACS, is the simplest peroxide, a strong oxidizer that app1-EArs as a cl1-EAr and slightly viscous liquid. Its oxidizing properties are so strong that it is considered a highly r1-EActive oxygen species. Due to it being a w1-EAk acid it can form hydroperoxide or peroxide salts. One of its biggest uses is in the tr1-EAtment of drinking water, removing odors, organic materials and the amount of Hydrogen sulfides and Iron. As an ACS grade R1-EAgent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured Hydrogen Peroxide is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
