Hydromorphone Hydrochloride (CII), USP Hydromorphone Hydrochloride (CII), USP is the water soluble salt of hydromorphone, an opioid and analgesic drug. It is legally considered a narcotic and commonly used in hospitals to act on the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. It is a DEA CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – SCHEDULE II drug and does require DEA registration by the customer and completion of DEA Form 222. Certification of Available Procurement Quota required for certain customers.
