Description

The IKA Heating block has been designed for IKA magnetic stirrers with heating function with a maximum working plate diameter 135 mm. The flask heating block carrier along with the flask block inlay, allows syntheses to be carried out in small reaction vessels or round flasks. This system ensures optimal heat transfer from the heating plate into the medium. The anodizing color of the heating blocks could change permanently when temperature is higher than 180 DEG C or with aging. This does not affect the heating function of the block. The heating blocks maximum allowed temperature must not exceed 300 DEG C.

1000 mL flask carrier is available with handles (Spectrum Cat. No 430-97935) or without handles (Spectrum Cat. No. 650-10111).

A 500 mL flask block inlay can be purchased separately to accommodate a 500 mL flask (Spectrum Cat. No. 650-10114).
