Description
Made of a very strong magnetic material (rare earth magnet samarium-cobalt), hence their torque loads are greater than those of conventional stir bars. PTFE coating is chemically inert and resists corrosive substances, hazardous chemicals; hot/cold temperatures. Optimal mixing in vessels with larger volumes or in tall, graduated cylinders. Extremely smooth surface with no risk of demagnetization, sterilization and contamination. Mainly used for high temperature applications and stirring viscous liquids, soil samples etc.
