Inulin, part of a group of natural polysaccharides that belong to a class of dietary fibers known as fructans. Inulin is increasingly used in processed foods as a sugar substitute. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
