Description
Lovastatin, a statin drug, is a naturally occurring naphthalene compound used to lower cholesterol in people with hypercholesterolemia in order to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease; it is found in foods like oysters and mushrooms. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
