m-Xylene, R1-EAgent is an aromatic hydrocarbon with its main use being the manufacture of isophthalic acid used as a copolymerizing monomer. It is also known as meta-xylene. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
