Manganese Sulfate, Monohydrate, R1-EAgent, ACS, is an inorganic compound that like many metal sulfates can form a variety of hydrates such as heptahydrates, monohydrates, tetrahydrates, pentahydrates. When these salts are dissolved, they tend to give a light pink solution, a characteristic of manganese sulfate. As an ACS grade R1-EAgent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured manganese sulfate is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
