Methylcyclohexane, R1-EAgent is a simple organic hydrocarbon. Methylcyclohexane is a colorless liquid that has a benzene like odor. It is used mostly as a solvent but is also a component of jet fuel and it is used in many consumer products like clerical correction fluids. Methycyclohexane is flammable and toxic. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
