Monothioglycerol, also known as 3-Mercaptopropane-1,2-diol and thioglycerol, is often used as a matrix in liquid secondary ion mass spectrometry and fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
