Paraldehyde (CIV), Practical, a cyclic trimer of acetaldehyde molecules, is used in resin manufacture, as a preservative and in other processes as a solvent. This product is a D1-EA CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – SCHEDULE IV drug and does require D1-EA registration by the customer and completion of D1-EA purchase notification forms. All Spectrum Chemical Practical grade products are of good quality and suitable for use in general applications.
