PerkinElmer offers replacement parts, such as laser heads and source lamps, for their FT-IR spectrometers. These items are readily available and most do not require installation by a PerkinElmer Service Engineer.
• Cat. No. 290-11045: The NIR Source Lamp is a 35W, 12.0 V bulb with an aluminum alloy finish. It comes pre-aligned and ready to install. It is compatible with the Spectrum One/65/100/400 and Spectrum 3/Frontier spectrometers. This lamp is user-installable and with this part number can be ordered as a replacement or spare.
• Cat. No. 290-11867: User-installable spare for Spectrum One/100, Spectrum One NTS/100N, Spectrum 65, and Spectrum 400 systems. These kits are required for all the PerkinElmer FT-IR Spectrometers to keep the optical path free from moisture. It is recommended that the laser head is replaced every six months. Follow the instructions in the appropriate instrument manual to install the laser head.
• Cat. No. 290-10370: The Mid-IR Source Lamp is a replacement source lamp for the Spectrum One/100/400/65 and Spectrum 3/Frontier spectrometers. This lamp includes a Source Element Accessory and a Fixed Source Mirror Replicator. With this part number, you can order a replacement or spare lamp. This lamp is easily installed by the user. Installation instructions are in your instruments user guide.
