Peruvian Balsam is also known as Balsam of Peru and is derived from the tree grown in El Salvador which is known as Myroxylon. The balsam comes from the trunk of the tree which is similar to substances like vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or res1-EArch purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
