Petroleum Ether, B.R. 100 DEG -140 DEG C is obtained from petroleum refineries as the portion of the distillate which is intermediate between the lighter naphtha and the heavier kerosene. Petroleum ether is mostly used by pharmaceutical companies and in the manufacturing process. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
