Phloroglucinol, Hydrate, R1-EAgent is an organic compound phenol derivative with antispasmodic properties. It is used as a coupling agent, linking diazo dyes to give a fast black. In cosmetic and personal care product formulations, it is used for its colorant and antioxidant properties. It app1-EArs as a white to yellowish, odorless, crystalline powder. It is partially soluble in cold water. Its r1-EAgent grade m1-EAns this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
