Potassium Permanganate, Crystal, R1-EAgent, ACS, also known as permangante of potash, is an inorganic chemical compound and is a powerful oxidizing agent. It is water soluble and, when dissolved, becomes a pink to purple solution. It is commonly used in the film and television industry to cr1-EAte an old effect on props and as an antiseptic when diluted. It is also used extensively in the water tr1-EAtment industry and as a r1-EAgent for the synthesis of organic compounds.
