Description
Naturally hydrophobic, unsupported membrane designed to deliver the highest binding capacity, especially in low background applications such as Western transfer, amino acid analysis and protein sequencing. Reproducible results with maximum sensitivity. Use with common stains such as amido black, colloidal gold, Coomassie blue, India ink and Ponceau S. Will not degrade, distort or shrink when using high concentrations of methanol for destaining. Exhibits efficient transfer of proteins within a wide range of molecular weights, from 5K daltons to 700K daltons. BSA binding capacity averages 125 µg/cm2.
