Description
This rabbit antiserum is purified by protein A chromatography. It is repeatedly absorbed with immobilized lysate from a ß-gal (Escherichia coli strain). It shows minimum cross-reactivity to E. coli proteins in immunoblotting. It is also available as an affinity gel. The rabbit antiserum is suitable for use as a precipitating antibody. It gives sharp precipitin lines in immunoelectrophoresis and immunodiffusion techniques. It is also suitable for use as a primary reagent in enzyme immunoassays, flourescein immunoassays and blot, cell, or tissue immunostaining. This product is specially prepared for the detection and purification on recombinant proteins. This product is suitable for conjugation with enzymes, radiolabels, flurochromes or other markers and for attachment to solid supports for use as an immunoadsorbant.
